Resolve

I'm one of those people who gripes when the stores start putting out Christmas decorations right after Valentine's Day.

Each year the holidays we celebrate seem to be getting closer and closer together with no down time in between...so much so that the local grocery store keeps an isle designated as "seasonal". Out with the witches and ghouls and in with the turkeys and pumpkins then Santa stuff.

Which brings me to New Years and those dreaded resolutions and yes, I know, Christmas isn't even over yet. You know them...eat better, exercise more, swear less, spend less...it's the same every year. I'm surprised that someone hasn't come out with a note pad with the popular resolutions listed so you can just check the boxes that apply each year. That way, by February, and you realize that, once again, you've kept none of them, you tear the sheet off and wade through the "holidays" til you can begin again.

What are my resolutions? I resolve to wait until at least 12/26 to think about them...
